Production Supervisor – Electro-Mechanical Assembly (Direct Current Fast Chargers)

Location: Santa Ana, CA
Pay Rate: $24–$30 per hour, DOE

Position Overview

We are seeking a skilled and motivated Production Supervisor to lead our assembly team in the production of Direct Current Fast Chargers (DCFC). In this role, you will supervise, coordinate, and participate in the assembly process, ensuring that all products meet our high standards for quality, safety, and efficiency. You will play a key role in scheduling, training, quality management, and process improvement.

Minimum Requirements

• Experience: 5+ years in electro-mechanical assembly, with a proven track record in a leadership role (preferred)

• Skills: Strong communication, interpersonal, and motivational abilities

• Organization: Excellent time management and organizational skills; able to prioritize and meet deadlines

• Technical: Experience with electrical assembly tools/equipment and safety procedures

• Software: Familiarity with Microsoft Office Suite and project management software

• Knowledge: Ability to read and interpret electrical schematics and mechanical assembly drawings

• Problem-Solving: Strong analytical skills and commitment to continuous improvement

• Process Improvement: Ability to identify and communicate process improvement opportunities

Key Responsibilities

• Supervise and coordinate the electro-mechanical assembly team, assigning tasks and setting priorities to meet cost and schedule goals

• Ensure all assemblies are completed safely, accurately, and in compliance with quality standards and applicable codes

• Develop and implement procedures to improve assembly efficiency and effectiveness

• Collaborate with procurement to ensure materials and components are available for each job

• Maintain accurate records of assembly work, including quality control and inspection reports

• Monitor team performance and provide feedback to support skill development

• Maintain a safe work environment and ensure adherence to all safety procedures

• Oversee the maintenance and proper use of assembly tools and equipment

• Liaise with engineering, design, and testing departments to ensure assemblies meet project requirements

• Assist in recruiting and training new team members as needed
