Job Title: Product Assembly Technician – First Shift

Job Summary:
Seeking a motivated Product Assembly Technician to join our team on the first shift. The role involves assembly, maintenance, and inspection tasks related to mechanical and electrical systems, with opportunities for overtime and additional responsibilities as business needs dictate.

Key Responsibilities:

• Assemble, install, maintain, and repair mechanical and electrical systems.

• Interpret and work from blueprints, schematics, and technical documentation.

• Perform quality inspections to ensure finished assemblies meet standards.

• Utilize skills in brazing, welding, balancing, laser machining, and general machining as needed.

• Work with refrigeration, HVAC, and/or cryogenic systems if qualified.

• Understand and handle components such as regulators, valves, solenoids, and pressure relief devices.

• Apply knowledge of materials of construction in assembly work.

• Adhere to safety procedures and maintain a clean work environment.

• Travel between facilities or to client offices as required (clean driving record may be necessary).

Schedule:

• Monday to Friday, 5:00 AM – 3:30 PM (First Shift)

• Saturday and overtime as needed, including possible weekdays, weekends, nights, and/or holidays

Compensation:

• $20.00 per hour

Qualifications:

• High school diploma or equivalent required

• Experience in installation, maintenance, and repair of mechanical and electrical systems preferred

• Refrigeration/HVAC or cryogenic system experience preferred

Additional Preferred Skills:

• Brazing or welding techniques

• Mechanical balancing

• Laser machine operation

• Machining skills

• Inspection and quality assurance

• Reading and interpreting technical prints/schematics

• Experience with basic AC/DC circuitry

• Familiarity with cryogenics or refrigeration

• Understanding system components: regulators, valves, solenoids, pressure relief devices, etc.

Physical Demands:

• Ability to stand, walk, sit, reach, climb, balance, stoop, kneel, talk, hear, and use hands/fingers for tasks

• Ability to lift up to 25lbs as needed

• Work performed in a warehouse environment

Other Requirements:

• Overtime may be required based on business needs

• Candidates may be asked to present a driving abstract with a clean history for required travel
