Job Overview
We are seeking a skilled Assembly/Solderer to join our manufacturing team. The ideal candidate will have experience with various soldering techniques and a strong understanding of electronic components. This role involves assembling and fabricating electronic devices while ensuring adherence to quality standards. The Solderer will work closely with other team members to produce high-quality products efficiently.

Duties

• Assemble electronic components using soldering techniques, including both through-hole and surface mount technology.
• Utilize hand tools and power tools to fabricate and modify components as needed.
• Perform inspections of soldered connections to ensure compliance with IPC 610 standards.
• Collaborate with engineering teams to troubleshoot and resolve assembly issues.
• Maintain a clean and organized work area, ensuring all tools and materials are properly stored.
• Use calipers and other measuring instruments to verify dimensions and tolerances of assembled parts.
• Operate logic controllers as part of the assembly process, ensuring proper functionality of the final product.

Skills

• Proficient in soldering techniques, particularly in surface mount technology (SMT) and through-hole soldering.
• Strong mechanical knowledge with the ability to read and interpret technical drawings and schematics.
• Experience using hand tools, power tools, and measuring instruments such as calipers.
• Familiarity with IPC 610 standards for electronic assembly quality.
• Ability to assemble components accurately while maintaining attention to detail.
• Problem-solving skills to effectively troubleshoot issues during the assembly process.
