Temporary Human Resources Assistant
We are seeking a reliable and detail-oriented Temporary Human Resources Assistant to support our HR team during an employee’s leave of absence.
This is a full-time, temporary position
Monday-Friday
8:00 AM–5:00 PM
Pay Range: $25.00–$30.00 per hour, depending on experience
Key Responsibilities:
Assist with the administration of various leaves of absence including FMLA, CFRA, and Pregnancy Disability Leave (PDL)
Maintain communication with employees and management regarding leave status and documentation
Initiate contact with employees requesting leaves of absence and provide guidance on leave policies
Support HR team with clerical and administrative duties
Ensure confidentiality, accuracy, and attention to detail in all tasks
Handle interruptions with flexibility and maintain excellent interpersonal and communication skills
Qualifications:
Familiarity with federal and California state leave of absence laws and regulations (FMLA, CFRA, PDL)
Strong organizational and communication skills
Ability to maintain confidentiality and work with sensitive information
Adaptable and able to handle multiple tasks in a fast-paced environment
Previous HR or administrative experience preferred
