Ensuring that all Production schedules will be met by product line assigned.
Coordinating the manufacturing and assembly flow and report the status to the Production Control Planner/Scheduler, other Expeditors, and the Customer service team, as required.
Verifying current inventory of materials and requisition all materials and parts required to manufacture and/or assemble finished product.
Coordinating and expedite the flow of materials, parts, and assemblies through the manufacturing process.
Release work orders to production floor per their due date, planned by Master Scheduler
Monitor work Orders to ensure timely routing completion. Monitor production schedules to meet shipping dates driven by customer requirements.
Organizing and arranging all production documentation (Drawings, Data sheets, shortage sheet. WIP locations, WIP priorities) required to process manufactured items.
Acting as a liaison between Manufacturing, Quality, and Engineering to resolve all discrepancies and problems during the manufacturing process.
Assist with the transition of product in MRB back into production
Locate and track work orders and product on the production floor
Arranges in-plant transfer of materials to meet production schedules
· Moves or transports materials from one department to another.
Reports to the Production Planner any material changes or substitutions, or shortages
Responsible for any additional duties and or responsibilities as assigned.
Keeping all incoming WIP organized and put up on Racks Daily.
Meet with planners to review backlog and future orders. As assigned
Contribute to daily Production Meetings and issue updates daily to attendees.
Must keep all areas clean and orderly; and comply with 5S standards.
Driving stand up and sit down forklifts as needed. Use of pallet jacks.
