The ISO and Documentation Specialist is responsible for developing, implementing, and maintaining documentation standards in compliance with ISO 9001 and ISO 14001. The specialist ensures that the organization's Quality Management Systems (QMS) and Environmental Management Systems (EMS) are documented, updated, and audited as per regulatory requirements.
Review, develop, and update documentation related to QMS and EMS, including policies, procedures, forms, and manuals.
Implement and maintain document control processes to ensure documents are accurate, current, and properly managed. This includes version control (ECN process), distribution, and archival.
Create, organize, and maintain electronic files for easy retrieval and reference in designated storage locations. Ensure that all documents are up-to-date and accurately reflect the organization's standards.
Assist in preparing documentation for internal and external audits, ensuring compliance with relevant policies and standards.
Provide necessary support and training to employees on documentation processes.
Collaborate with cross-functional teams to identify and implement process improvements related to quality and environmental management.
Stay informed of changes in ISO standards and other regulatory requirements to ensure ongoing compliance.
Facilitate document-related training sessions for employees to ensure understanding and adherence to document management procedures.
Qualification:
High school diploma or equivalent; additional qualifications and certification in QMS, Science or Engineering related fields are an advantage.
Minimum of 3-5 years of experience in documentation management within a manufacturing environment, with specific experience in ISO 9001, ISO 14001 or other similar standards.
Strong knowledge of QMS and EMS standards and requirements.
Excellent organizational and communication skills.
Experience with document management systems software is beneficial.
Proficiency in MS Office.
Auditor Certification in auditing ISO 9001 or ISO 14001 is a plus.

Strong organizational abilities with the capacity to manage high volumes of documents.
Strong attention to detail and accuracy.
Good interpersonal skills and the ability to work collaboratively with team members.
