Packaging Operator Job Summary
Our manufacturing facility is looking for a Packaging Operator. In this position, you will operate our packaging equipment to prepare products for shipment. After packaging the products, you will be responsible for labeling and stacking them on pallets for transport. Although you may not be on the production assembly line, you should report any quality control issues you notice before packaging items. Applicants should be comfortable working in a manufacturing environment and standing for extended periods of time.
Packaging Operator Duties and Responsibilities:
Operate packaging equipment
Label packages for shipment and stack them on pallets
Inspect products for quality control and report any issues
Maintain a clean and safe workspace
Job Requirements
High school diploma or GED certificate
At least 18 years of age
Familiarity with GMP and CGMP standards
Basic math and reading skills
Ability to stand for the majority of an eight-hour shift
