Quality Control Inspector

Location: Santa Ana, CA
Pay Rate: $25/hour
Schedule: Monday – Friday, 6:00 AM – 2:30 PM (Overtime as needed)

We are seeking two (2) experienced Quality Control Inspectors to join our manufacturing team immediately. This role is essential in ensuring our products and services meet or exceed customer expectations through accurate inspections and adherence to quality standards.

Key Highlights

• Tools & Measurements: Proficient use of dimensional inspection tools with tight tolerance measurements.

• Blueprint Reading: Strong knowledge of GD&T and ability to read and interpret technical drawings and blueprints.

Responsibilities

• Perform receiving, in-process, and final inspections of parts, subassemblies, and assemblies.

• Use a variety of precision measuring instruments (calipers, micrometers, bore gages, profilometer, coating thickness gauge, thread gages, etc.).

• Verify product compliance to drawings, specifications, and industry standards.

• Maintain inspection records and properly archive documentation (certifications, test results, traceability reports, nonconformance reports, etc.).

• Follow all safety protocols and maintain a clean, organized inspection area.

• Operate material handling equipment (pallet jack, forklift, lift/jib crane) when necessary.

• Collaborate effectively with team members in a fast-paced manufacturing environment.

Qualifications

• Education: High School Diploma or GED required; Associate’s degree or vocational training in mechanical inspection/manufacturing a plus.

• Experience: Minimum of 2 years of mechanical inspection experience in manufacturing, machining, or related industries (cryogenics experience preferred).

• Strong understanding of ASME Y14.5 (GD&T).

• Proficient with MS Office, Outlook, MRP systems, and engineering drawing databases.

• Good written and verbal communication skills.

• Able to lift up to 45 lbs., stand for extended periods, and work occasional overtime including weekends or holidays as needed.

• Willingness to learn and advance inspection skills.

Work Environment & Safety

• Indoor manufacturing setting, with occasional outdoor or offsite work.

• Mandatory adherence to all company and EHS safety policies.

• PPE provided and required (safety shoes, safety glasses, hearing protection, gloves, etc.).
