Receiving Inspector / QC Inspector
Location: Santa Ana, CA
Shift: Monday–Friday, 6:30 AM–3:00 PM (Possible Overtime)
Pay: $20–$22/hour
Job Type: Full-time
About the Role
We are seeking two detail-oriented Receiving Inspectors / QC Inspectors to join our warehouse team. In this vital role, you’ll ensure all incoming materials meet our quality standards and are routed correctly, supporting smooth warehouse operations and product excellence.
Key Responsibilities

Inspect and verify incoming products against purchase orders and packing slips

Perform visual, dimensional, and functional inspections using precision measuring tools (calipers, micrometers, etc.)

Identify and report defects, damages, or quality issues

Maintain accurate inspection records and databases in compliance with ISO standards

Collaborate with the QA department to process inspection documents and manage non-conforming materials

Read and interpret manufacturing drawings and weld symbols

Prepare inspection and non-conformance reports as needed

Support regular ISO audits and maintain a clean, organized work area

May assist in training other inspectors
Job Requirements
Qualifications

High school diploma or GED required; some college preferred

Minimum 2 years’ experience as an inspector or quality technician in a machine shop, foundry, or sheet metal environment

Skilled in using precision measuring devices (calipers, micrometers, torque wrenches, etc.)

Ability to analyze technical drawings and documentation

Proficient in Microsoft Office 365 (Word, Excel, Outlook)

Strong attention to detail, organizational, and multitasking skills

Able to work independently with minimal supervision

Good communication skills in English (reading and speaking)
Physical Requirements

Ability to lift, carry, push, and pull up to 50 lbs unassisted
-
Able to stand, walk, and move around the facility for extended periods
-
Capable of repetitive hand and body movements
Additional Requirements

Familiarity with ERP/MRP systems is a plus

Must be able to pass pre-employment screening
