Mechanical Assembler – 1st Shift
Location: Santa Ana, CA
Schedule: Monday–Friday, 6:30 AM – 3:00 PM
Pay: $17.55/hour
About the Role
TeamQuest Staffing is seeking an experienced Mechanical Assembler to join a growing job shop in Santa Ana. This position supports the assembly of complex detail parts, sub-assemblies, manufacturing kits, and components used in both defense and commercial industries. The ideal candidate has strong mechanical aptitude, can follow instructions carefully, and takes pride in producing accurate, high-quality work.
Responsibilities

Assemble products using hand tools such as drills, pliers, screwdrivers, and wrenches.

Work on both large parts and small components.

Read and follow assembly procedures, drawings, and bills of material.

Interpret written instructions and assembly requirements accurately.

Maintain a clean, organized, and safe work area.

Perform work according to quality standards and established safety procedures.

Support additional tasks as assigned by the supervisor.
Job Requirements
Qualifications

Strong mechanical aptitude.

Ability to follow directions and work accurately.

Experience with mechanical assembly preferred.

Ability to use hand tools safely and effectively.

High attention to detail and strong self-motivation.

Ability to read instructions and drawings; blueprint reading is a plus.
