Machine Operator – 2nd Shift (Conversion Operator Level 1)
Location: Huntington Beach, CA
Schedule: Tuesday–Saturday, 3:00 PM – 11:30 PM (Off Sunday & Monday)
Pay: $20.50/hour

About the Role

We’re seeking a Machine Operator (Conversion Operator Level 1) to support our production team in Huntington Beach. This position involves operating machinery to package, wind, and prepare roll materials for shipment. The ideal candidate is safety-conscious, detail-oriented, and comfortable working in a hands-on manufacturing environment.

Responsibilities

• Operate machinery and equipment to package rolls according to work order instructions.

• Perform lifting of materials (up to 50 lbs).

• Retrieve materials from inventory and report any damaged or missing items.

• Complete machine set-ups following standard procedures and supervisor instructions.

• Inspect machine controls and safety features prior to operation.

• Maintain legible documentation and labeling for finished products.

• Keep the work area clean, organized, and compliant with all safety policies.

• Review work orders and drawings to ensure accuracy and resolve conflicts as needed.

• Package and prepare finished products per work order requirements.

• Follow routine oral and written instructions effectively.

• Build positive working relationships with coworkers.

• Maintain Airtech lift cart certification.

• Report safety concerns immediately to supervisor or manager.

• Perform additional duties as assigned by the supervisor.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent work experience.

• Ability to read, write, and follow detailed instructions.

• Hands-on mechanical aptitude and comfort working with production equipment.

• Reliable attendance and teamwork mindset.

• Strong attention to detail and commitment to safety.
