Laboratory Technician – 2nd & 3rd Shift

We are hiring reliable, detail-oriented Laboratory Technicians to support product testing, color evaluation, and general laboratory operations. This is an entry-level opportunity with training provided for qualified candidates who demonstrate strong attention to detail, professionalism, and the ability to accurately distinguish color variations.

Candidates must be available to interview and complete a color-perception assessment, including the Munsell Color Test, as part of the hiring process.

Pay: $18.50 per hour
Shifts Available: 2nd shift
Overtime: Weekend overtime may be required based on business needs.

Position Responsibilities

• Support laboratory operations and product-testing activities as assigned.

• Assist with color evaluation, color matching, and visual inspection of materials or finished products.

• Follow established laboratory procedures, work instructions, safety requirements, and quality standards.

• Accurately record observations, test results, and other required documentation.

• Use basic math skills to complete job-related measurements, calculations, and data-entry tasks.

• Maintain a clean, organized, and safe laboratory work area.

• Communicate effectively with supervisors and team members regarding work status, test results, or quality concerns.

• Assist with additional laboratory, production-support, or quality-related duties as assigned.

• Work overtime, including weekends, when required to support production and operational needs.

Qualifications

• Strong color perception and the ability to pass a required Munsell Color Test.

• Basic math skills, including addition, subtraction, and division.

• Good communication skills and the ability to work effectively with a diverse team.

• English, Spanish, bilingual English/Spanish, or English plus another language skills are welcome.

• Professional presentation, positive attitude, reliability, and willingness to learn.

• Ability to start as soon as possible.

• Flexibility to work 2nd shift or 3rd shift and overtime on weekends as needed.

• Previous laboratory, quality-control, manufacturing, plastics, color-matching, or inspection experience is a plus but not required.

• Training will be provided.
