Job Title: Machine Operator / Conversion Operator Level 1
Location: Huntington Beach, CA
Pay Rate: $20.50/hour
Schedule: 2B Shift, 3:00 PM – 11:30 PM, Sunday and Monday off

Position Summary:
We are seeking a reliable Machine Operator to perform semi-skilled work operating equipment used in packaging, loading, and winding/rewinding finished products. This role also includes preparing product samples, printing labels, and ensuring materials are packed accurately according to work order instructions.

Key Responsibilities:

• Package rolls as they are produced according to work order instructions

• Operate equipment controls for loading and unloading rolls safely

• Assist with winding and rewinding finished product

• Prepare samples of finished product as needed

• Print and label material for customer shipments

• Obtain materials from inventory bins for processing

• Notify supervisor of damaged, defective, or missing materials

• Perform machine set-ups according to standard procedures or work order plans

• Check operating controls and safety stops before operating equipment

• Review work orders and drawings, and resolve conflicts as needed

• Maintain a clean, safe, and orderly work environment

• Follow oral and written instructions accurately

• Maintain effective working relationships with team members

• Maintain required lift cart certification

• Report any potential safety hazards to the supervisor or manager

• Perform other duties as assigned

Qualifications:

• High school diploma or equivalent work experience

• Ability to lift up to 50 lbs.

• Good handwriting and basic labeling accuracy

• Ability to follow instructions and work safely

• Strong attention to detail and teamwork skills

• Prior manufacturing or machine operator experience preferred
