We are seeking two skilled Mechanical Technicians to join our 2nd shift assembly team for a high-priority production project. Candidates with aerospace, automotive, or precision mechanical assembly experience are strongly preferred. The role involves hands-on mechanical and electrical assembly work, testing, and preparation of engineered equipment while maintaining high standards of quality and safety.
Perform hydrostatic testing on parts per provided prints and inspection/test procedures.
Assemble mechanical parts, subassemblies, and components according to engineering drawings and specifications.
Assemble in-tank and ex-tank electrical components per provided schematics.
Disassemble pumps and components per production schedule.
Install required instrumentation per engineering design.
Prepare components and pumps for shipment, including vacuum bagging and kitting materials per bill of materials.
Maintain a clean, organized, and safe work area in compliance with company standards.
Communicate material or supply needs to supervisor or operations manager.
Conduct monthly inspections of straps, slings, and safety gear; report any safety concerns immediately.
Participate in continuous improvement by identifying issues and suggesting process enhancements.
Strong mechanical aptitude with fine assembly capability.
Ability to read and interpret blueprints, drawings, and technical instructions.
Excellent attention to detail and organization.
Demonstrated critical thinking and decision-making skills.
Prior experience in aerospace, automotive, or manufacturing assembly preferred.
Familiarity with preventive maintenance systems and safe operation of tools and equipment.
Proven reliability, diligence, and teamwork.
