Pay Rate: $19.25/hour (includes: Base Pay: $17.75, plus $1.50/hour 3rd shift differential)

Job Summary:
TeamQuest is seeking a Roto Assembler I for 3rd shift at our Huntington Beach facility. This role is responsible for assembling components, packaging finished goods, maintaining quality standards, and supporting overall productivity in the Roto department. The Assembler I will perform basic to intermediate assembly processes while maintaining safety, efficiency, and quality standards.

Key Responsibilities:

• Assemble basic and intermediate components, including cleaning parts, tapping inserts, bolting, and securing components with screws.

• Follow production schedules and work instructions to meet daily output goals.

• Package finished products, including boxing, labeling, taping, stapling, and stacking cartons using established pallet patterns.

• Use basic hand and power tools safely and effectively.

• Order, control, and track hardware inventory to ensure all materials are accounted for.

• Print and apply labels accurately using computer systems.

• Perform finished goods transactions and maintain accurate labeling requirements.

• Recognize and follow departmental quality guidelines and raise concerns to management.

• Maintain personal efficiency rating in accordance with performance targets (minimum 100%).

• Cross-train in multiple assembly cells as needed (non-Foam line, Ingredient Bin line, LCD line, Ferry 11-line, Bus Cart line, Kits, Packs, Food Bar & FSG line, Routing, Re-box area).

• Access the ESP program via computer and perform data entry tasks.

• Follow all safety procedures, wear required PPE, attend safety meetings, and report unsafe conditions.

• Maintain reliable attendance and punctuality.

• Work effectively as a team member and communicate professionally.

• Perform additional duties as assigned.

Requirements:

• High school diploma or GED required.

• One year of related assembly, manufacturing, or warehouse experience preferred.

• Ability to communicate in English, both verbally and in writing.

• Ability to read and interpret safety rules and procedure manuals.

• Basic math skills (add, subtract, multiply, and divide using whole numbers, fractions, and decimals).

• Ability to use hand tools, power tools, and basic computer systems.

• Willingness to work overtime and adapt to schedule changes as needed.

Preferred Qualifications:

• ERP system experience (Prism, Intermec, AS400).

• Bilingual in Spanish.

Physical Requirements:

• Ability to stand, walk, bend, twist, lift, and perform repetitive tasks throughout the shift.

• Ability to lift and move materials as needed.

• Comfortable working in a manufacturing environment with noise, dust, and moving equipment.

PPE Requirements:

• Safety glasses, utility/cutting gloves, leather-top slip-resistant shoes, steel-toe slip-resistant shoes, hard hat, hearing protection, and face shields as required.
