Pay Rate: $19.25 per hour (Base Pay $17.75, with an additional $1.50/hour for the 3rd shift differential, which is an added premium for working overnight hours).

The Roto Assembler I is responsible for operating assigned assembly stations in the Roto department, with ownership over safety, quality, and productivity at the work area. This role performs basic and intermediate assembly processes, packaging, and labeling of finished goods, similar to typical manufacturing assembly roles where workers assemble parts, package products, and prepare them for shipment.
This position requires use of standard industrial PPE, which may include:
Safety glasses
Utility or cut-resistant gloves
Leather-top, slip-resistant shoes or steel-toe slip-resistant shoes
Hard hat
Hearing protection (ear plugs or ear muffs)
Face shields, as required by specific tasks
Follow a prism-based or system-based schedule for assigned assembly work.
Assemble basic and intermediate components within the Roto department, including cleaning parts, tapping inserts, bolting, or using self tapping screws to secure components.
Order and control hardware and ensure all inventory is properly accounted for.
Recognize and follow departmental quality guidelines and standards.
Perform all aspects of product packaging, including boxing, labeling, taping, stapling, and stacking cartons using established pallet patterns.
Use basic hand and power tools safely and correctly.
Maintain a personal efficiency rating that meets or exceeds department performance targets.
Cross-train and assist in multiple assembly cells/lines as needed (e.g., various product lines, routing, re-box area, kits, and packs).
Print labels using computers and apply them correctly to finished goods.
Perform finished goods (FG) transactions and complete associated labeling requirements.
Follow all established assembly procedures and work instructions.
Access production or labeling programs (such as ESP or similar systems) via computer.
Follow verbal assembly instructions and repeat processes accurately.
Adapt to different work assignments throughout the shift as business needs change.
Maintain reliable and consistent attendance, including punctuality and dependability, to support department needs.
Follow all safety procedures, wear required PPE, attend safety meetings, and report equipment or workplace safety issues.
Work effectively as a team member, give and receive feedback, and treat others with respect.
Take ownership of work quality and behavior, communicate work status, and raise quality concerns to a manager when needed.

Perform other duties as assigned to meet production and departmental requirements.
High school diploma or GED, plus approximately one year of related assembly, production, or manufacturing experience, or an equivalent combination of education and experience.
Ability to communicate in English, both verbally and in writing, to understand instructions and document work.
Ability to read and interpret documents such as safety rules, work instructions, and procedure manuals.
Basic math skills, including addition, subtraction, multiplication, and division using whole numbers, fractions, and decimals.
Experience using ERP or production systems such as Prism, Intermec, or AS400 (or similar).
Bilingual in Spanish.
Ability to work overtime as needed and remain flexible to schedule changes to support production demands.
Ability to meet the physical demands typical for assembly roles, which may include standing, walking, reaching, and handling parts and materials throughout the shift.
