Job Title: Conversion Operator I – 3rd Shift
Location: Huntington Beach, CA
Pay Rate: $21.00/hour
Schedule: Sunday–Thursday, 11:00 PM – 7:30 AM (Off Friday & Saturday)
Job Summary:
The Conversion Operator I performs semi-skilled work operating a variety of equipment, including packaging roll material from winders. This role involves safely loading and unloading rolls, supporting winding/rewinding processes, and preparing finished products for shipment.
Key Responsibilities:
Package roll material as produced according to work order instructions
Operate equipment to safely load and unload rolls for packing and processing
Perform machine setups based on standard procedures or supervisor instructions
Obtain materials from inventory and report damaged or missing items
Inspect and verify equipment controls and safety features prior to operation
Prepare product samples and print/label materials for customer orders
Review work orders and drawings, resolving discrepancies as needed
Maintain a clean and safe work environment
Follow all safety procedures and report hazards to supervisors
Produce and package finished goods per work order requirements
Perform additional duties as assigned
Requirements:
High school diploma or equivalent work experience
Ability to lift up to 50 lbs
Ability to follow written and verbal instructions
Strong attention to detail and legible handwriting
Ability to work effectively in a team environment
Must obtain and maintain Airtech lift cart certification
