Job Title: Accounting Clerk
Location: Santa Ana, CA
Pay Rate: $22.00-$24.00 DOE
Schedule: Monday–Friday, 7:30 AM – 4:30 PM (1-hour lunch; flexibility for 30-minute lunch if preferred)

Position Overview:
We are seeking a detail-oriented Accounting Clerk to support daily accounting operations. This role is ideal for candidates with hands-on experience in accounts receivable, data entry, and general accounting support. We are looking for individuals whose experience closely aligns with the responsibilities listed below.

Key Responsibilities:

• Perform month-end journal entries

• Process daily cash applications and scanning batches

• Generate and manage trade ship reports and invoicing on a daily basis

• Provide backup support for intercompany shipping reports and invoicing

• Handle miscellaneous AR trade billing as needed

• Send collection emails and respond to customer inquiries when required

• Review and organize scanning disks and boxes

• Download and process expense reports through Concur for reimbursements

• Match expense reports with Mizuho credit card statements

• Print or upload accounts payable vendor invoices to SharePoint

• Assist Accounts Payable with check preparation, stuffing, and mailing

• Perform data entry and other administrative tasks as assigned

Qualifications:

• Prior experience in accounting or clerical support roles preferred

• Familiarity with AR/AP processes and general accounting practices

• Strong attention to detail and organizational skills

• Ability to handle repetitive tasks with accuracy

• Experience with Concur or similar expense systems is a plus

• Basic proficiency in Microsoft Office (Excel, Outlook, etc.)
