Extrusion Operator – 2nd Shift
Location: Huntington Beach, CA
Schedules & Pay:

• Schedule 2B: Tuesday–Saturday, 3:00 PM – 11:30 PM (Off Sunday & Monday) – $22.50/hour

• Schedule 2C: Friday–Tuesday, 3:00 PM – 11:30 PM (Off Wednesday & Thursday) – $23.00/hour

• Schedule 2D: Thursday–Monday, 3:00 PM – 11:30 PM (Off Tuesday & Wednesday) – $23.00/hour

About the Role

TeamQuest Staffing is hiring multiple Extrusion Operators to join our client’s 2nd shift production team in Huntington Beach. This role involves operating and monitoring extrusion molding equipment, packaging materials, and preparing finished products for shipment. We’re looking for dependable operators with solid mechanical aptitude, a strong work ethic, and a commitment to safety and quality.

Responsibilities

• Package roll materials and finished products according to standard procedures.

• Safely load and unload materials, ensuring proper handling and identification.

• Retrieve materials from inventory and report any damaged or missing supplies.

• Perform equipment setup and adjustments per supervisor’s direction.

• Inspect and verify controls and safety systems before starting operations.

• Prepare and label product samples for customer shipments.

• Maintain a clean, safe, and organized work area in compliance with company policies.

• Review work orders and resolve any discrepancies or conflicts.

• Work cooperatively with fellow production team members.

• Maintain Airtech lift cart certification.

• Immediately report safety issues or potential hazards.

• Perform additional related tasks as directed by the supervisor.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent.

• Prior experience in blow molding, extrusion, or general machine operation preferred.

• Ability to read and follow technical instructions and work orders.

• Strong organizational skills and attention to detail.

• Reliable, safety-minded, and able to lift up to 50 lbs.

• Effective communication and teamwork skills.
