Job Title: Machinist

Schedule: Monday – Friday, 5:00 AM – 3:30 PM
Pay Rate: $27.00 per hour

Position Overview

We are currently seeking an experienced Machinist to join our Production Team in Santa Ana. This position plays a key role in machining precision parts to exact specifications while maintaining the highest quality standards. The ideal candidate is detail-oriented, safety-focused, and able to work independently with minimal supervision.

Key Responsibilities

• Set up and operate conventional milling and lathe machines

• Select tools, fixtures, and materials according to job specifications

• Perform precision machining to meet close tolerance requirements

• Monitor and adjust machinery to maintain consistent production quality

• Inspect and verify finished parts using precision measuring instruments

• Identify and correct deviations or defects in machined components

• Collaborate with Supervisors and the Production Manager to meet project timelines

• Maintain a safe, clean, and organized workstation

• Apply Lean Manufacturing principles where applicable

• Perform other duties as assigned

Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent required

• 5+ years of hands-on machining experience preferred

• Strong understanding of machining principles, tooling, and cutting parameters

• Ability to read and interpret engineering drawings and specifications

• Familiarity with quality inspection tools and QA standards

• Capable of setting up new machines and fixtures independently

• Excellent verbal, written, and interpersonal communication skills

Preferred Skills

• Bilingual in English and Spanish

• Experience in aerospace or precision manufacturing environments

• Knowledge of Lean methodologies and continuous improvement practices
