Mechanical Assembler – Cryogenic Pump Components
Santa Ana, CA | $20/hr (1st Shift) or $22.50/hr (2nd Shift) | Full-time with Overtime Available
1st Shift: Monday–Friday, 5:00 AM–2:30 PM, with Saturday overtime (5:00 AM–11:00 AM). Pay: $20.00/hr.
2nd Shift: Monday–Friday, 2:30 PM–10:30 PM. $22.50/hr (includes $2.50/hr shift differential).
Note: 2nd shift employees will train on 1st shift before moving to their assigned schedule.
We’re seeking a Mechanical Assembler to join a hands-on manufacturing team. This role involves precise assembly work, troubleshooting, and inspection to ensure top-quality performance and reliability. It’s ideal for candidates with mechanical aptitude and a strong attention to detail.
Assemble and fit cryogenic pump components per specifications, blueprints, and SOPs.
Align, adjust, and verify all mechanical components (bearings, seals, etc.) to close tolerances.
Record assembly clearances and submit for engineering review.
Inspect finished assemblies for compliance with technical requirements.
Support troubleshooting, rework, and failure analysis when needed.
Maintain clean, organized work areas following 5S principles.
Carry out preventive maintenance tasks and follow all safety protocols.
Meet daily and weekly production goals consistently.
Safely disassemble and evaluate returned or used equipment to determine root causes of damage.
High school diploma or equivalent required.
Previous experience with mechanical assembly, repair, or maintenance preferred.
Refrigeration, HVAC, or cryogenic industry experience a plus.
Brazing or welding experience.
Basic machining and balancing.
Ability to read blueprints and electrical/mechanical schematics.
Understanding of AC/DC circuitry and mechanical systems (valves, regulators, solenoids, etc.).
Familiarity with cryogenic or refrigeration systems.
Ability to stand, walk, bend, and kneel for extended periods.
Must be able to lift up to 25 lbs.
Overtime may be required, including weekends.
Work performed primarily in a warehouse environment.
May require a clean driving record for travel between facilities.
