Job Title: Production Expeditor
Location: Santa Ana, CA
Schedule: 5:00 am–1:30 pm (4 days/week) & 8:30 am–5:00 pm (1 day/week); every other Saturday required; frequent overtime
Pay Rate: $22/Hour

Position Summary:
The Production Expeditor ensures timely and efficient production flow, coordinating materials, assemblies, and documentation to meet manufacturing schedules. The role requires close collaboration with Production Control, Customer Service, Manufacturing, Quality, and Engineering to resolve any discrepancies and maintain smooth operations.
Key Responsibilities:
Ensure production schedules are met for assigned product lines
Coordinate the flow of materials, assemblies, and documentation through manufacturing, reporting status to Production Control, Expeditors, and Customer Service
Verify and requisition inventory/materials required for finished products
Release and monitor work orders, ensuring timely completion to meet shipping deadlines
Organize production documentation: drawings, data sheets, shortage sheets, WIP locations, and priorities
Act as a liaison across departments to resolve manufacturing discrepancies
Track and move work orders and products throughout the production floor
Arrange in-plant transfer of materials and transport between departments
Report material changes, substitutions, and shortages
Maintain organized racks and WIP, supporting daily production meetings and backlog reviews
Contribute to 5S standards, keeping work areas clean and orderly
Operate stand-up/sit-down forklifts and pallet jacks as needed
Perform additional duties as assigned
Supervisory Responsibility:
No direct supervision, but expected to mentor and coach department colleagues.

Stand, walk, sit, reach, climb, stoop, kneel, talk, and hear
Lift up to 50 lbs
Work in manufacturing and assembly floor setting
Experience & Education:
High School Diploma or GED required
Bachelor’s Degree preferred; equivalent combinations of education/training/experience considered
1+ years in a similar production or logistics role
Safety Requirements:
Completion of Safety Awareness training required
Ongoing safety training provided by EHS Director and management
Strict PPE compliance (safety shoes/glasses, hearing protection, hard hats, cryogenic gear, etc.); non-compliance may result in disciplinary actions
