We are in need for 2 experienced prep paint temps for 2nd shift 2PM TO 10:30PM. Looking for someone that is knowledgeable with applying bondo and has 5 years experience.

We are seeking a detail-oriented and skilled 2ND SHIFT PRE-PAINT to join our manufacturing team. This role involves preparing surfaces for painting processes, ensuring high-quality finishes, and supporting production efficiency. The ideal candidate will have experience with industrial painting, fabrication, and the use of various hand and power tools, as well as a solid understanding of manufacturing and machining principles. This position offers an excellent opportunity for individuals with a background in industrial painting, auto body repair, or warehouse operations to contribute to a dynamic production environment.

Duties

• Prepare surfaces and components for painting by cleaning, sanding, and masking using hand tools and power tools
• Apply coatings using auto painting or industrial painting techniques, ensuring even coverage and adherence to specifications
• Maintain a clean and organized work area to promote safety and efficiency
• Follow lean manufacturing principles to optimize workflow and reduce waste

Qualifications

• Proven experience in industrial or auto body painting preferred
• use of hand tools and power tools
• Ability to operate precision measuring instruments accurately
• Basic math skills for measurements and calculations related to fabrication and finishing processes
• Experience with auto painting, airless paint spraying, or industrial painting techniques is highly desirable
• Ability to work on 2nd shift hours with reliability and attention to detail
